The countdown is on, and planning for the "Those Were The Days" Kiwiana Festival is well and truly underway! The festival planning team has been busy behind the scenes pulling together a week that promises to be packed with classic Kiwi fun, great food, and plenty of opportunities to relax and connect.

Running from 30 December to 5 January, the festival will celebrate the best of Kiwi summers from yesteryear. Think sunshine (fingers crossed!), laughter, and a healthy dose of nostalgia. The programme will include sports events, entertainment, and fun activities to keep everyone happily occupied throughout the week.

Food lovers are in for a treat. The catering lineup includes a catered dinner a breakfast, fresh salads, a tuck shop, and of course a hangi - yum! There'll be no risk of going hungry, or thirsty, during the festivities.

Accommodation is filling fast, with cabins already fully booked. Members who aren't attending are encouraged to let the team know if their caravan or site could be made available for out-of-town guests.

Festival pricing has been kept budget-friendly at $295 per person, with an early bird rate of $275 if paid in full by 30 September.
